As indicated in
Availability, Grapevine 2 has outlived its usefulness and is soon to be replaced with Version 3.
As a result of this and the fragile nature of Version 2, there has been no further recent development of the current version and none is planned, either for enhancements or bug fixes.
Upon release of Version 3, all current users of the system will be offered the upgrade to Version 3 (pre-2010 - free, 2010 at a reduced cost) - data transfer will be included (provided the data from Version 2 can be
made available to MTB Software).
Any parish which wishes to continue using Version 2 will be welcome to do so, but no further development of the product will take place.
Technical support will continue to be provided for one year and the Version 3 upgrade will continue to be made available, however all
support of Version 2 will cease one year after the release of Version 3.
